BENEFITS TO THE ATHLETE
- Personalized learning and academic support to build your timetable around your training and competition requirements.
- On-site certified BC teachers/tutors delivering courses, helping students catch up with homework, and liaising with your home school.
- Personalized graduation planning helping you gain graduation credits for your sport and training activities.
- Multi-sport training sessions powered by the IGNITE Athlete Development Program. Specifically developed for athletes between the ages of 14-17, IGNITE focuses on the elements of athleticism that build a well-rounded foundation based on balance, strength, speed and explosive power.
- Articulated, dual credit courses for Grade 12 students providing students with BC High School and 1st year credits for Camosun College (Victoria Campus only)
- Transportation to sport-specific and multi-sport training centres.
ELIGIBILITY
The sport school program is open to high performance athletes whom have been identified by their national or provincial sport organization as being eligible to register with CSC Pacific or PacificSport at the following levels:
- Podium
- Canadian Elite
- Canadian Development
- Provincial Development
- BC Regional Development athletes may also considered should space be available
