Objective: Technology plays a leading role in determining which athletes reach the podium. From body positioning to equipment design, high performance sport technology is changing the way athletes train and perform in competition. The better we can understand and use technology, the greater the chances of our athletes’ success. CSC Pacific Sport Technologists work with athletes, coaches, technology, and tradespeople to identify and develop technology to enhance performance with the goal of helping more Canadian athletes reach the international podium. Operations: The Sport Technologist is responsible for the development and/or adoption of performance enhancing technologies and provision of technology support to Canada’s elite athletes and coaches.
