Ron McColl Ron McColl has been involved with PacificSport Interior BC since its inception and has been actively involved with its establishment and growth. He has maintained an involvement with sport throughout his life as a participant (high school and community sports, golf, and canoeing), as a volunteer, as a parent, and as part of his profession. Ron has a Bachelor of Recreation Education from UVic, a Diploma in Public Sector Management from UVic, Ron retired from the City of Kamloops after being in the roles of Manager of Corporate Programs and Projects and Manager of Recreation and Culture. |

Randy Semenoff Randy Semenoff plays hockey, soccer and slow pitch, although his favourite sport is golf. As Past President of the West Zone High School Athletic Association, Okanagan High School Sport Organization and 1st Vice President to British Columbia Sport Organization, Randy became involved with PacificSport because he was interested in Athlete Development. He has a Bachelor of Education from UBC. Randy is currently working at Brocklehurst Secondary School as a P.E, Woodwork, Socials and Math teacher. |

Rendy Olthuis Treasurer Rendy Olthuis joined PacificSport to fill the role of Treasurer. She joins the board with a Bachelor of Education from U of A, Computer Systems: Operations and Management (CSOM) from UCC and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) – Certified Management Accountants Society of British Columbia. Rendy is currently retired and has been a long distance runner for 20 years and enjoys watching tackle football. |

Barbara Warsimage Secretary Barbara Warsimage enjoys watching all sports but has a soft spot for softball, a sport she played, coached and managed for nearly 40 years. Barbs’ reason for being involved with PacificSport is to "be part of helping hometown athletes train in Kamloops and go on to compete at elite events such as Nationals, Worlds and the Olympic Games." |

Kevin Brechin Kevin is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and develops sport specific training programs. Kevin works towards a global approach in correcting postural and muscular imbalances through manual therapy techniques, modalities and active rehabilitation exercises to return the person back to sport or work. Kevin is also the owner of Excelerate Sports Therapy Inc. He has been the head Athletic Therapist for the past five years at Thompson River’s University in Kamloops and the Sage Sports Institute. Kevin has also worked with Professional, National and Amateur athletes rehabilitating them from injuries and developing sport specific training programs. In February 2010, Kevin was part of the Host Therapy Team for Long Track Speed Skating for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, BC. For the past four years he has worked as a consultant to the Kamloops Blazers.

Sean Lamoureux Appointed Director - School District 73 Sean Lamoureux is no stranger to sport. He joins PacificSport as the Kamloops/Thompson School District #73 Appointed Director. Sean says he made the decision to become a part of the board to help support athletics and to ensure the athletes of this region get the same support and opportunities that he received while playing football, basketball and soccer, when he was growing up here in Kamloops. Sean has a double Major in Geography and History from the University of Victoria and a Masters in Administration and Leadership from the University of Gonzaga. Sean is currently the principal at Twin Rivers School but, he finds time to be a chair on the Provincial Administrators Committee for BC School Sports, a part of the Board of Directors for BC School Sports and coaches with Kamloops Basketball Academy and Kamloops Club Basketball and the head coach for the 2010 Provincial Champions South Kamloops Secondary Junior Girl Basketball team. In Sean’s spare time, he enjoys travelling, hiking and being outdoors with his wife and daughter. He enjoys reading and cannot choose between basketball and football as his favourite sport. |

Giuseppe Liberatore Giuseppe Liberatore has been an athlete and coach for numerous sports, including rugby and football. He became involved in CSC Pacific as he has “a strong passion for sports and believes that the development of sport in BC is a great asset for the entire health of our community”. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Indiana (MBA), Ecoles des Hautes Etudes Commerciales, France (Masters in Management) and McGill University (BA), he is a faculty member for the Thompson Rivers University School of Business and Economics, and operates Global AnaLytica Research. Giuseppe is involved in international education by training faculty in India, performance research in China and helping with the development of new post-secondary instuitions in Georgia. His volunteer commitments have included City of Kamloops SPC Grants Committee (Chair), and the Social Planning Council for Kamloops (Vice Chair). |

Linda Stride
Linda Stride is the Health and Sport Development Supervisor with the City of Kamloops and is passionate about and committed to providing physical activity opportunities for a range of participants that lead to an improved quality of life. “I believe that sport is the perfect vehicle to encourage movement in our families and stimulate community engagement.” Much of Linda’s professional experience in sport and wellness has been with municipal organizations and post-secondary institutions. Linda has instructed the soccer activity class in the Physical Education Department at the Univ. of Saskatchewan, Univ. of Alberta and Grant MacEwan University. Linda has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology, majoring in Leisure and Sport Management from the University of Saskatchewan and a Recreation Leadership Diploma from Langara College. As an athlete and coach, Linda’s primary athletic endeavors were in soccer and since hanging up her soccer cleats, she has pursued running, triathlons and fitness.

Jack Miller Past Chair Jack Miller is an active coach and athlete. He coaches recreational and elite distance runners and has completed 53 marathons (all sub-three hours) himself. He became involved with PacificSport because he believes that "helping to provide better opportunities for coaches and athletes is a very important component of the sport delivery system in BC and in Canada." |

Peter Moyls Director Peter Moyls admits to not having a favourite sport, though he played varsity hockey for UBC for five years, and has coached both UBC hockey and Midget A at Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in Saskatchewan. Involvement with PacificSport is because involvement allows Peter "to be involved with other individuals who may share my vision of bringing the positive values back to sport." A graduate of University of Toronto (PhD) and UBC (MPE, BPE), Peter is Chair of Physical Education and an Instructor in the Math and PE departments at Thompson Rivers University. Other volunteer activities include coaching hockey and baseball and leading NCCP courses in hockey. |

Brian Olthuis Director Brian Olthuis started playing football in University before moving to coaching University ball and finishing coaching the U19 Canada Cup. Brian was led to PacificSport because he wanted to be involved in current sports issues and want to help develop sport (from funding to nutrition and training advancements). A graduate of the University of Alberta (B.P.E, teaching certificate) Brian retired after teaching PE for 34 years and now enjoys facilitating National Coaching Certificate Programs (NCCP). His other volunteer commitments include being a Director with Kamloops Sports Council and Master Learning Facilitator with Football Canada. |

Ken Olynyk Appointed Director - Thompson Rivers Univeristy Athletic Director Ken's heart is with basketball, a sport he played in University and went on to coach and administer at the provincial, national and international levels. Ken's belief in high-performance sport led him to be involved in PacificSport as he feels "strongly that we need to support sport if we want to gain the benefits of sport." A graduate of Simon Fraser University and UVic, Ken is the Director of Athletics and Recreation at Thompson Rivers University. His volunteer involvement also includes being Vice-President of the BC College Athletic Association, Board Member of the 2006 BC Summer Games held in Kamloops and Coach with the Steve Nash Youth Basketball League. |
