SCHOLARSHIP & FEES

Canadian Sport Centre Pacific, PacificSport and the Government of British Columbia have invested in this program to ensure BC's next generation of athletes have the tools they need to achieve their Olympic dreams. The overall program value is in excess of $210/month per athlete due to the coaches' level of expertise, the world-class training facilities and tools as well as the sport science and research behind the preparation of this curriculum.

CSC Pacific and PacificSport have committed to provide scholarships to every athlete accepted into the program in an effort to keep the program fees to a minimum.

Program Fee

The fee for IGNITE is approximately $60 per month for PacificSport registered athletes and $75 for non-registered athletes.

Note: athletes can only become registered with PacificSport if they are nominated by their Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) to received program and service offerings from a PacificSport Centre. The onus is on the PSO to notify its athletes on an annual basis. Once notified, athletes are expected to take the initiative to become registered with their regional PacificSport Centre.

Spring/Summer 2012 Fees (Application Deadline: April 4, 2012)
$300 for registered PacificSport athletes
$375 for non-registered athletes

Athlete fees can be paid by credit card, cheque or cash in full, or through post-dated monthly cheques for the beginning of each program month. Fees will not be pro-rated for any reason.

Program Withdrawals 
Should an athlete choose to withdraw from the program before its conclusion, the athlete will be charged for the remainder of the program. If the full amount has been prepaid, refunds will not be given.

Exceptions will be made if:
1) the athlete is forced to withdraw due to injury (a doctor’s note confirming  injury must be provided). 
2) if the athlete relocates due to sport commitments.
