Using a collective voice and constructive approach, athlete advocates have the power to shape decisions and influence change within the sport system and at the government policy level. Rather than merely accepting the outcome, athlete advocates choose to be part of the decision-making process and use their experience and knowledge to pay it forward for the next generation of athletes.
