Canadian Policy Against Doping in Sport (2011)
This policy aims to advance and reinforce anti-doping efforts in a coherant manner throughout the sport system. All athletes should review this policy prior to their registration or renewal with Canadian Sport Center Pacific. A dowloadable version of the Policy is located by clicking here.
Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES)
The CCES believes in fair sport and works collaboratively to protect the integrity of sport.
World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)
WADA monitors the fight against doping in sport. Its key activities include scientific research, education, development of anti-doping capacities, and monitoring of the World Anti-Doping Code.
The WADA quiz is an interactive computer game that tests athletes' knowledge about anti-doping.
Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada (SDRCC)
The SDRCC helps to prevent conflicts and, when they are inevitable, resolve them.
NSF International Certified for Sport Program
NSF International is a public health and safety company whose Certified for Sport program makes it easy for athletes to identify nutritional supplements that do not contain any banned substances and are safe to take.
CSC Pacific Athlete Logbook
Athletes who wish to purchase a CSC Pacific Athlete Logbook should contact their Athlete/Coach Services Coordinator to order a copy. They are available for $12.00.
Sport Canada Athlete Assistance Program (AAP)
Sport Canada AAP Carded athletes registered with CSC Pacific/PacificSport planning to access services while visiting a Canadian Sport Centre outside of British Columbia must contact CSC Pacific Athlete & Coach Services Coordinator – Andree-Anne LeRoy (604) 333-3512 or by email: aleroy@cscpacific.ca at least two weeks in advance of their departure. Each Canadian Sport Centre has a different service delivery process and it is essential that the athlete follows the correct process. Athletes who do not follow the appropriate process for accessing services will be personally responsible for any expenses incurred.
