BC Support Network: Competed in the 2000 BC Winter Games in Quesnel in badminton. Brother, Jay, competed for Team BC at the 1999 Canada Winter Games in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland and is on the National team. Member of BC Speed Skating Association. Canadian Sport Centre Pacific supported athlete.

Performance Highlights:
• 1000m Silver medallist and1500m Bronze medallist at the 2009 World Single Distance Championships
• Won the World Cup Title in Team Pursuit in 08-09
• Finished 5th overall in the 2009 World All-round Championships, winning the 500m race
• 1500m World Champion and 1000m Bronze at the 2008 World Single Distance Championships
• Established a World Record in the 1500m in 2008
• Won 11 medals during the 2007-08 World Cup season (2 gold, 8 silver, and 1 bronze)
• Silver medallist in Team Pursuit at 2006 Olympic Winter Games
• 500m World Junior Champion and 1500m and Team Pursuit silver medallist at the 2005 World Junior Championships; finished 4th overall
